We had an amazing surf lesson with the fab Sonny, who was a great instructor. It was the perfect sit for a surf lesson with great facilities. We were made to feel really welcome from the moment we got to the surf school and my nephew was put at ease with it being his first time.
Sonny you gave us great feedback to help us have the best experience. You were so calm & patient with us.

Today my surf was saved by NQY surf school! Waves were poppin the sun was sizzling - my leash was not! It broke in the first 10 minutes of the surf 🙈🙈 these guys leant me one of their leashes for my session! Absolute top class!

Brilliant surf lesson with NQY Surf School!
Thank you so much for my amazing 1:1 surf lesson with Greg on 22/04/2026. I was a complete novice, excited but rather nervous for my first lesson. It was pretty windy that day but we all agreed we were happy to go ahead. Greg was very kind, patient and encouraging and really friendly. I got as far as kneeling upright and learned how to bodyboard! If I’d been fitter and a bit stronger I probably would have managed to stand up and surf! But I managed to ride some waves! ❤️ Loved it and keen to return for another lesson when we can return to Cornwall.

Fantastic Surf Lesson Experience!

We had an amazing experience with NQY Surf School – it's located right on the beach, which is super convenient. Our instructor, Greg, was fantastic – it honestly couldn’t have been better. A HUGE thank you to Dale at NQY surf school. Took our two (reluctant) teenagers out and they cane back beaming having caught some waves. Dale worked relentlessly- back and forth in the crashing waves with enthusiasm and boundless energy. Will be back to get more lessons from Dale. Thank you so much.
